Radu VASILESCU resigned from the management of ING Pension Fund, to focus on financial consulting, he said for www.privatepensions.ro. ING Pension Fund is the largest private pension fund administrator (mandatory and voluntary) on the Romanian market.
Radu VASILESCU was the head of the private pension company (mandatory and voluntary) for ING (Pension Fund and Insurance) during last year and the first half of this year. Under his management, ING became Romania's market leader in private pensions. VASILESCU quit the management position in ING Pension Fund within less than a month from the moment Bram BOON withdrew from the management of ING Life, as BOON left to run the insurance operations of ING in Greece.
Before ING, VASILESCU worked in the financial industry and held various positions at CITIBANK, ALPHA Bank and BRD Sogelease. Radu VASILESCU is 43 year old and graduated from the Polytechnical University.
